Before Page 4, Cash Dalton has already stepped into the strange glow of Orbital Station Habitat 3E, a place where starlight drifts through metal corridors and every shadow feels like it’s watching. His arrival in the Intro sets the tone — a lone traveler drawn toward something he can’t name.
In Page 1, Cash wanders the station’s winding halls, feeling an eerie pull guiding him deeper inside. That pull leads him, in Page 2, to a mysterious holographic guitar artifact — a crystal‑lit instrument that reacts to his touch as if it recognizes him. And by Page 3, Cash meets Vorren, the sharp‑eyed manager of the Suds N Songs, who offers him a job and unknowingly nudges him toward the destiny humming beneath the station’s surface.

Cash wandered the station for a long while, letting the marketplace warmth fade into the cooler hum of the corridors. The neon sun overhead dimmed as he walked, replaced by softer lights and quieter halls. Eventually, he found himself back at the bar — the same one where he’d played earlier, the same one where the bartender had watched him with that curious look.
The place was calmer now. Fewer people. Lower voices. A slower rhythm.
Cash stepped inside, boots tapping lightly on the metal floor. The bartender looked up immediately.
“Well,” the bartender said, “you didn’t disappear.”
Cash shrugged. “Not yet.”
The bartender motioned him over. Cash took a seat at the counter, setting his guitar case beside him. The bartender poured him a drink without asking — something smooth, something warm.
“You caused a stir earlier,” the bartender said. “People talked.”
Cash raised an eyebrow. “About what?”
“About you,” the bartender replied. “About the way you played. About the way you walked in here like you belonged.”
Cash took a sip. “Didn’t mean to cause trouble.”
“It wasn’t trouble,” the bartender said. “It was… good. Real good.”
Cash didn’t respond. He just waited.
The bartender leaned in slightly. “I’ve been thinking. This station’s got a lot of noise. A lot of people passing through. But it doesn’t have a sound. Not one that sticks.”
Cash looked up.
“I want you to play here,” the bartender said. “Not just once. Regularly. Nights, weekends, whenever you feel like it. I’ll pay you. And if you draw a crowd — which I think you will — I’ll pay you more.”
Cash stared at him for a moment, weighing the offer.
The bartender continued, “I’ve seen performers come through. Some good, some loud, some forgettable. You’re none of those. You’ve got something different. Something people remember.”
Cash tapped the bar lightly with his fingers. “You sure about this?”
“Absolutely,” the bartender said. “This place needs a heartbeat. And I think you’re it.”
Cash looked around the bar — the lights, the tables, the stage in the corner. It wasn’t big. It wasn’t fancy. But it felt right. Felt like a place where something could start.
He nodded once. “Alright,” Cash said. “I’ll play.”
The bartender smiled. “Good. Real good.”
Cash finished his drink, stood up, and picked up his guitar case.
As he turned to leave, the bartender called out, “Hey — one more thing.”
Cash paused.
“There’s a shop down the market line,” the bartender said. “Sells instruments from all over the system. If you ever want something new — something that fits this place — tell them I sent you. They’ll give you a deal.”
Cash smirked. “Maybe someday.”
He walked out of the bar, the hum of the station rising around him.
He didn’t know it yet, but this was the moment everything truly began
