WHAT IS the STARLIGHT COWBOY SERIES – SCS – EPISODE ONE – PAGE 5 ABOUT…

Before Page 4, Cash Dalton has already stepped into the strange glow of Orbital Station Habitat 3E, a place where starlight drifts through metal corridors and every shadow feels like it’s watching. His arrival in the Intro sets the tone — a lone traveler drawn toward something he can’t name.

In Page 1, Cash wanders the station’s winding halls, feeling an eerie pull guiding him deeper inside. That pull leads him, in Page 2, to a mysterious holographic guitar artifact — a crystal‑lit instrument that reacts to his touch as if it recognizes him. And by Page 3, Cash meets Vorren, the sharp‑eyed manager of the Suds N Songs, who offers him a job and unknowingly nudges him toward the destiny humming beneath the station’s surface.

STARLIGHT COWBOY SERIES – SCS – EPISODE ONE – PAGE 5 STORY

The bar felt different that night.

Not louder. Not fuller. Just… expectant.

Word had spread faster than Cash expected. A few miners from the lower decks showed up early, claiming they “heard about the cowboy.” A pair of traders grabbed a table near the front. Even the bartender seemed more alert than usual, wiping down the counter twice, checking the lights, adjusting the holo‑sign outside.

Cash stepped in quietly, guitar case in hand. The bartender nodded. “Ready?”

Cash nodded back. “Let’s see what happens.”

He walked to the small stage in the corner — the one that barely fit him, his guitar, and a stool. The lights above flickered to life, casting a warm glow across the room. Conversations softened. Heads turned.

Cash sat down, opened his case, and pulled out his acoustic guitar — the same one he carried from Mars, the same one he played in dusty bars and quiet nights. He strummed once, letting the sound settle into the room.

It wasn’t loud. It wasn’t flashy. But it was real.

The crowd leaned in.

Cash started playing — slow, steady, warm. A song about long roads and new places. A song about finding something unexpected. A song that fit the station better than he realized.

People listened. Really listened.

A miner wiped his eyes. A trader smiled softly. The bartender stood still, arms crossed, proud.

Cash played another song. Then another.

By the time he finished, the bar felt alive — not with noise, but with connection. The kind that sticks. The kind that grows.

Someone approached him afterward — a mechanic with grease on his hands and a grin on his face.

“You’re somethin’ special,” the mechanic said. “Keep playin’. This place needs you.”

Cash nodded, unsure what to say.

As he packed up his guitar, the bartender walked over.

“You did good,” he said. “Real good.”

Cash looked around the bar — the lights, the faces, the warmth.

For the first time since leaving Mars, he felt like he wasn’t just passing through.

He felt like he belonged.

He didn’t know it yet, but tonight was the night people would remember. The night the station started whispering his name. The night the future — the gigs, the crowds, the alien guitar — quietly began.

Cash stepped off the stage, boots tapping softly on the metal floor.

He had a home now. And tomorrow, he’d play again.
